Hi, I’m Terrence.

From 145kg to Endurance Athlete

This is the part where I’m meant to say running came easily. It didn’t. I wasn’t born with a talent for it, and discipline never came naturally either. At 145kg I was overweight, unfit, and nowhere near the athlete I am today — so I built the habits, the discipline and the mindset from scratch, one annoyingly small decision at a time.

Where the running started

4 years

Of consistency and learning

Multiple

Comrades Marathons completed

70.3

Ironman races completed

Four years of consistency, learning and stubbornness later, I’ve completed multiple Comrades Marathons and Ironman 70.3 races, and achieved results I once never thought possible.

That journey is where the Pettersson Method came from. It’s my attempt at cutting through the noise for other people: train with purpose, find out what you’re actually capable of, and do it with real-world experience, proven training principles, and the Peak Movement team behind the plan. You don’t need to be born an athlete to become one. You just need to start.

What the plan rests on

The story is mine. The programming is a partnership.

I’m not the biokineticist here — that’s Peak Movement’s side of the work. Every run plan is biokineticist-assessed and professionally programmed through that partnership. Enhance is how that work reaches people who want to run better.

If this is the running you want, start with a conversation.
